Ours has cats.

Izzy and Stewart were our longtime companions and best friends. Curious about everything, playfully goofy, and absolutely convinced that whatever you were doing could wait because they needed attention (or food) right now!

They had a gift for reminding us not to take ourselves or life too seriously. On the days when life got heavy, they somehow always knew to show up and be there with a purr and a boop.

The people behind the studio are Sally and Mike. This chapter of our lives comes after careers that have moved into the rearview mirror. Instead of slowing down, we decided to lean more fully into the creative pursuits that always energized us. Sally has been knitting for years, drawn to texture, color, and the quiet satisfaction of making something with her hands. Mike is a dedicated knitting assistant and lifelong photography enthusiast who finds his sweet spot at the intersection of creativity and technology.

Izzy & Stewart Studio is where those interests meet. It’s a place for design, experimentation, and ideas shaped by the things we genuinely enjoy: knitting, yoga, nature, travel, photography, motorsports, pets, and whatever else catches our attention along the way. As the shop grows, so will the mix of products. Because for us, staying curious is the point.

We hope you’ll feel this is a shop made by people who care about what they create. Maybe you’ll recognize some of your own interests in ours. Maybe you’ll just find something that makes you smile.
